Chinese Garden Park Dedication

It’s been a long wait, but the new Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park (Washington State) has officially opened to the public this week. This is the city’s first Chinese garden park, although it will be a few more years before all structures will be in place. The main pavilion, or “ting,” as seen above, is the main highlight of the park.

Park dedications included a traditional blessing by a Buddhist grand master and a colorful Chinese dragon dance. As well, a delegation from Tacoma’s sister city Fuzhou attended. Below are photos of a few more highlights of the park.

Wow. I love that Chinese Pagoda. It is extremely beautiful. In real life I have seen a Pagoda in Copenhagen. Those garden stones are awesome.

Thank You presenting this beautiful set of photos.

Thank you!
