The Glory Days of Dahlias

I love to visit the Dahlia gardens this time of year. They are the showiest flowers in the gardens come late summer and early autumn. When many of the other summer flowers are fading away, the proud Dahlia puts on a show next to none. It’s almost like nature’s way of bidding farewell to summer and giving her admirers one, last, fantastic finale. And oh, what a show it is! Here we go…

Thank you, again, Mother Nature!

  1. Dahlias are wonderful flowers. You are fortunate to be in an area where they grow so beautifully. Love your photos!

  2. Lovely pictures! They’d bring a smile on your face on even the dullest of days. The colors and the intricate patterns on these flowers are mesmerizing. Dahlias, especially such big ones, don’t grow everywhere so its always good when you spot some and can photograph them. Nice work!

Thank you!
