Springtime in the Japanese Garden

I so look forward to springtime! So much color! One of my favorite places for outdoor photography is in my local park, Pt Defiance Park, Tacoma. The Japanese Pavilion was restored and rededicated a few months back. The park system did a beautiful job. As well, the Japanese reflection pond had its traditional ornamental structures given a face lift with a fresh coat of bright, red paint. I took advantage of the warm, spring weather this week and snapped a few photos of the Japanese garden area. I was even privileged to espy a mature, bald eagle flying overhead. How cool is that!
