In Honor of Spring

As promised, here are a few more of my photos taken in the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. I am also including some images of other popular springtime blossoms one can view in the garden. Enjoy!

PS  As if this beautiful botanical garden isn’t enough, adjacent to it is the Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection, with over 100 bonsai that includes both indoor and outdoor exhibits. With due respect, I will post only one photo from this marvelous collection. As with the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden, the Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection is located in a native Pacific Northwest forest, a perfect setting for such a collection.

  1. Such a beautiful variety, Peggy!

  2. Gunta says:

Gorgeous. Did not know that Trilliums came in pink! I’m used to the white ones and saw some of the deep purple in California, but never pink. Amazing and beautiful.

    • Thank you, Gunta! Yes, I didn’t know about Trillium’s “other” colors, either. I did some basic research and found that they can come in red, purple, pink, white, yellow, or green.

  3. What an awesome display, Peggy! 🙂

Thank you!
