Spring is Really Here!

002Cherry Blossoms

We’re in a trend of warm, sunny weather and the blooms just keep coming! Mid-spring blooms are here now in the Pacific Northwest. As usual, I’ve been making my weekly rounds to the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden, in Federal Way, Washington, as weather permits. Most of the rhododendron blooms we’ve been eagerly awaiting for are now in full bloom. If you live in the area, now is the time to visit! A few of the beautiful, turquoise blue Himalayan Blue Poppies are just starting to bloom, but I would wait another week or two, and then many more will be in bloom. They will be putting on a show through most of May. So here, again, are more pretty flowers to look at! Unless captioned, all images will be of rhododendron species from around the world.
